as you may or may not know, i used to regularly illustrate a sex advice column for the san antonio current. i no longer will do that (due to budget cuts, and instead they will be running the same illo with every column from now on...which is one i did so that's fun.|
anyway, i still get to illustrate a monthly column about being a mom in san antonio called home on the range, and here are some of them. all they wanted was for them to look different than the stuff i did for uncle mat's column so i've been playing with collage.
what do you think?
These are absolutely beautiful!
wow! the patience and cuteness is overwhelming. great job! they look so great.
These are so pretty, and really are unique. They definitely don't have to be worried about these being too similar to the illustrations you did before.
I think you should be proud of them, you always do great work
I accidentally said "Wow"
Absolutely rad, Amanda!!! I was actually just wondering where you and Mitch went. I missed your art and illustrations lots!
well he had to get a job-job. bills to pay and all that...and it really sort of killed the comics for awhile.
i don't really have an excuse...i'm still making just as much art...i just quit posting and then i missed it and decided to start back up again.
mitch has been doing a lot of commercial stuff, and really he has like three or four comics done--he's just waiting on me to paint them and i've been backed up.
